Transgenic Livestock Programme
AgResearch has programmes under way to study genetic modification in cattle, largely aimed at developing products from milk which will improve human health and nutrition. In 2008, AgResearch will be applying to ERMA for new approvals to continue and expand this work. Below are copies of information sent to stakeholders in December 2007.
AgResearch recently completed a series of Hui across New Zealand to seek feedback from Maori on its proposals - below is a copy of the Hui timetable and slide-show.
